Higher Education Support Act 2003 Guidelines
The HESA 2003 guidelines are delegated legislation authorised by
the Act and must be presented to both Houses of the Parliament. They can be
disallowed (vetoed) by a motion agreed to by either House of Parliament
within 15 sitting days of tabling.
Other Grants Guidelines
The Other Grants Guidelines contain requirements on grants payable to
higher education providers and other eligible bodies for a variety of
purposes.

Current
The
Other Grants Guidelines 2006 was registered on the Federal Register of
Legislative Instruments on 22 November 2006.
The
Other Grants Guidelines 2006 revokes and replaces the existing Other
Grants Guidelines made on 13 August 2004 and all subsequent amendments to
the same.
Transitional arrangements are in place to ensure that the revocation of the
Other Grants Guidelines, dated 13 August 2004, does not affect the validity
of a payment or decision made under those guidelines. A decision made under
those guidelines is taken to continue to have effect as if it were made
under the Other Grants Guidelines 2006.
